Mt. Timpanogos Park - Orem Utah - Parks in Provo Canyon
For over 15 years, Orem citizens worked towards building a home for the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival. In 2005, all their work and fund-raising came to fruition with the opening of Mt. Timpanogos Park (the park was completed with no debt.) The objective was to create a mix of large grassy areas for pavilion-tents with permanent facilities, including running water and electricity, to be available for large event hosting. While the park is no longer the home of the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival, it is a jewel for families and groups to hold events.

This $2.8 million park sits on the former site of Orem's Canyon Park. When the park was completed, the Orem City Council changed the name to "Mt. Timpanogos Park" in order to distinguish it from other parks in the area containing the name "canyon." It took 15 years to plan and two years to build-out this 44-acre park. It includes six pavilion-tent sites, 10 picnic sites, six restrooms, and the county's only all-weather hosting site. Visitors relish the stunning vistas and mountain views that surround the park. Size: 44 Acres Extended reservations or special requests to bring in additional amusement attractions to any Orem park must be approved in advance by the Director of Recreation. Amplified sound systems and inflatables including bounce houses, slides, etc. are not allowed in City of Orem parks. Cascade Hosting Center Cascade Hosting Center - Mt. Timpanogos Park UT
Cascade Hosting Center
Description: An all-weather delta shaped facility. The east wing and the west wing are identical. Amenities for each wing include 24' x 48' cement floor, water access in middle of wings, shelving & cupboards in the middle area, 8 folding doors in each wing, access to electrical outlets and overhead lights.
